About Newman’s Own Organics:
Newman’s Own Organics: The Second Generation was started by Paul Newman’s daughter, Nell Newman and her business partner Peter Meehan in 1993. The two of them knew there was a market for organic foods, but didn’t realize how quickly the demand for their products would grow. In early 2001, Newman’s Own Organics became an independent company. By this time, the company was producing several organic products including; Pretzels, Coffee, Tea, Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Organic Dried Fruit, and Pet Food.
“Great tasting products that happen to be organic” became their slogan, which they still stand by today. Now their line has grown even bigger by producing even more organic products including; Cookies, Mints, Licorice, Pop Corn, and, with Nell’s love for chocolate, Organic Chocolate Bars and Cups. Newman’s Own Organics’ products meet all of the requirements of the USDA’s National Organic Program.

My Review:

Newmans Own sent me several things to try out. I have to say that every single thing we tried out was absolutely delicious! But if I had to choose just one item it would be their pomegranate licorice. Now I am not a huge pomegranate lover but these are to die for. They are so soft, so yummy, and just so delicious! I probably kept and ate the whole back myself. This will be something that is on my list every time to purchase. My husbands favorite had to be the peanut butter cups. They sent us several to try and he really enjoyed them and said they were different than any peanut butter cups he has ate before. My 5yr olds favorite had to be the pretzels. He is a huge pretzel lover and really loved trying each kind, and comparing the shapes of each bag. Ohh and I cannot fail to mention that even my Great Danes enjoyed the pretzels because we came home one night to them chowing down on a bag.

I really enjoyed tasting each item over these past few weeks and we have really enjoyed the freshness and flavor of each thing. Nothing taste fake, full or sugar or stale. Everything had its own unique thing about it that we loved. We will defiantly be purchase several Newmans Own products from now on.
