One of the top questions I probably get is where do I get produce for cheap or coupons. Well you never really see coupons for produce so I have to do something else so I don’t have to pay those redicilous amounts for produce at most grocery stores.
That is when I discovered Aldi’s! I used to hate Aldi’s and refused to shop there. Now I love that place for it’s produce! Surprisingly Aldi’s has a big selection of produce and most all of it is very cheap. Now some days I will go in there and it’s really picked through but I find that if I go early in the mornings it’s nicely stocked. Their prices are very cheap & reasonable compared to Walmart or Harris Teeter. Now they aren’t the cheapest place for everything because some of their prices are ridiculous so look wisely!
I got all of this picture above for just over $35! That included 2 bundles of banana’s, celery, 2 avocados, 3 bell peppers, 8 plums, 6 peaches, 2 strawberries, 8 roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, 5 squash, 5 zucchini, blueberries, mini portebello mushrooms, 8 oranges, 2 cucumbers, bread, english muffines, cantelope, ketchup, lemon juice, cocktail sauce, chili powder, frozen edamame’s, veggies, string beans. Whew that is a lot of veggies! Now I am sure if I headed over to Harris Teeter to grab the same items my bill out be about $50-60!
I can’t forget that they have a double guarantee on their produce. If your produce is old, goes bad fast just return it and get your full amount back plus they will replace it for free!
So if you are wanting to save in the produce isle I would suggest hitting up your Aldi’s!

I didn’t know about the guarantee on produce, but I’ve had fruit that spoiled overnight and I took it back and they replaced it and gave me extra…the manager was very nice and I LOVE there frozen fish, scallops, and shrimp..my kids like the frozen chicken nugget balls (grandma bought those), and I like the prices on the maxi-pads, frozen asparagus, and garlic salt in the seasonings section…great prices!!
