Clearance finds are always a GREAT thing! A lot of people have asked me where the clearance is in the store. Most of them are normally on end caps but sometimes can be found right on the aisle that all the similar products are placed. It would pay off big time to take an hour to get familiar with your local store just cruising the aisles to find out where they place their clearance items at!
*When to know if Clearance price is good great or killer!*
Most items go down little by little so if there is something you need/want that is only 15-30% off chances are it was was probably cheaper with a sale at one point and more then likely it will still be there next time, but not always so you need to decide if it is a “have to have” at that moment or it can wait. If it is a” have to have right now” then grab it, saving something is better then nothing at all! If not then wait a week and see if it is still there and marked down anymore. If it is marked down 50% then that is a great deal. Most of us love the idea of 50% off so if you do not want to chance it going out the door then make your move! 75% off this is when its a KILLER deal and you should buy!
*Sometimes clearance isn’t that great*
Sometimes you can find items with a sale combined with a coupon for cheaper then the clearance. Have you ever seen clothes marked down on clearance but they were cheaper 2 months ago with a sale they had? Always be skeptical if it isn’t 50% off or cheaper. Have a price in your head based on if it is a need or a want!
